Mariane De Guzman, TEP

Founder & Managing Director — MABA Corporate Services

Mariane de Guzman is the Founder and Managing Director of MABA Corporate Services, bringing more than 17 years of experience across corporate structuring, fiduciary services, strategic management and business advisory in the UAE.

Her work focuses on helping entrepreneurs, international investors, private families and professional advisers navigate complex structuring and governance requirements across the UAE, with particular expertise in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and  UAE mainland and free zone jurisdictions. Her areas of focus include corporate and holding structures, foundations, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), succession and legacy planning, and corporate governance.

Prior to founding MABA in 2020, Mariane served as Managing Director of a prominent Dubai-based corporate services firm. Her entrepreneurial journey in the corporate services sector began in 2018, when she established and managed a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) within the DIFC. This experience provided the foundation for MABA’s governance-led approach and its continued expansion across the UAE’s principal financial and commercial jurisdictions.

Throughout her career, Mariane has combined an entrepreneurial perspective with a practical understanding of regulatory and jurisdictional frameworks. She works closely with clients and their professional advisers to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into structures that are commercially practical, well governed and aligned with long-term objectives.

Mariane is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the internationally recognised Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. She is an alumna of Columbia Business School in New York, where she completed the Advanced Management Program.

She is currently a participant in the INSEAD International Directors Programme (IDP), 2026–2027, further developing her expertise in corporate governance, board effectiveness and responsible leadership.

 

As Founder and Managing Director, Mariane leads MABA’s strategic direction and its commitment to delivering independent, governance-led corporate and fiduciary solutions for clients establishing, protecting and managing their interests in the UAE.
